  1. Job Purpose

To design, create and maintain best in class Infra, Upkeep and Ambience of both Large and Small Format Stores. Also ensure roll out and closure of LFS and SFS happen as per process. Also ensuring all assets like CCTV, HSW Elements, Smart TV elements are well maintained. This person will also lead any new initiative for change in layout of LFS and SFS to make it relevant as per the emerging industry trends and need. At all India Level, there are 460 LFS and 2460 SFS and each project manager will work with 2-3 Clusters depending upon bandwidth and geographical spread. This person will be responsible to manage Infra, Upkeep and Ambience of ~80 LFS and ~400 SFS, which will be a humongous and critical responsibility. He/she will also be responsible to own and manage annual budget planning on Opex and Capex for RnM, AMC, and Housekeeping etc. At Pan India Level ~50 Mn of Capex and 162 Mn of Capex will be managed by project managers.

  1. Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas
  1. Standardizing Retail Elements and Executing the design of LFS and SFS Infra- Drive and ensure all Infra elements of stores are executed and maintained as per the guidelines prepared for brand roll out, Infra elements like furniture, Floorings, Lightings, Grooming , Shop and establishment Certificates etc. CCTV, Smart TV display etc will need to be done effectively and efficiently. Repair and maintenance, AMC, replacement of furniture and other infra elements are key responsibility for both Larger Format Stores and Small Format Stores
  2. HSW Elements & Process Management- HSW is one of the critical aspects for Retail Stores (both LFS and SFS). This person will own HSW elements and will ensure different activities like Thermography, HSW elements like ELCB, MCB, SPD and other HSW protocols are well executed. He will also be responsible to execute HSW safety rules for all 800 FTE and 5000 Associates and equivalent no of partners and FOS
  3. Execution through Vendor Management– Execution of task in timely manner through managing end to end infra work from identification of requirements to raising work order to getting the work executed and complying to HSW norms. Developing and maintaining appropriate no of vendors is a prerequisite to faster and timely implementation. Coordination with commercial for vendor appointment and Payment.
  4. Brand elements Deployment- Need to ensure brand elements deployment in coordination with Brand and Marketing team
  5. LFS and SFS  Roll Out & Closure- Need to own Store (LFS & SFS) roll out and closure as per the guideline in coordination with Cluster Retail Sales Heads and Service Heads . This will help to have highly engaged channel partners with higher productivity
  6. Collaborate with Corporate and Circle Leadership Team– Need to collaborate with Corporate Retail, Brand and Cluster Brand, Marketing and CS team to ensure that guidelines are received on time, audit findings are discussed and closed with respective stakeholders at Corporate and cluster. Also need to co-ordinate and seek help with Cluster BH, FH and commercial head for any budgetary and payment support
  7. Own & Execute Opex and Capex for Repair and Maintenance, AMC and Housekeeping– R&M and AMC cost (Opex Cost) is major part of Retail Budget, other than COCA and this person needs to ensure efficiency in creation of Budget and also execute it by getting the best quality work in most efficient manner. Also LFS rental is one of the key element that needs tight negotiation, he will coordinate with Commercial head rental saving. At Pan India Level 50 Mn of Capex and 162 Mn of Opex will be the responsibility for this person.
  1. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience, Technical / Professional Qualifications (Max 5)

Competencies :

  • Good Project Management Skills with understanding various Infra elements
  • Should have worked in Retail, Infra, Real Estate sector in the role of Project Manager
  • Good Exposure on Opex and Capex budgeting and execution
  • Very good interpersonal and collaborative skills as person requires to interact with various stakeholders like Corp team, Circle Leadership Team, Vendor, HSW team etc.
  • High on Accountability and Ownership

Experience: 10+ years overall experience and should have worked in Retail or Infra, Real Estate or similar industry in Project or equivalent role

Drive and facilitate Infra, Upkeep, Ambience, HSW compliance  across LFS and SFS

  • SPOT THE SPOT Score
  • Timely replacement of Furniture & Fixture
  • Implementation of Brand elements in coordination with Brand and Marketing team
  • Adherence to timeline for new project, initiative
  • Conduct Work Shop on Store Up Keep

 

Own Annual Budget Planning on Opex and Capex for Clusters for Rnm, AMC, Housekeeping etc both format of Stores- LFS & SFS

Lead indicators:

  • Timely finalization of Annual Opex and Capex and timely execution
  • Opex Spend as a % to Budget
  • Cost Saving through negotiation of Rent, AMC etc.
  • Downtimes for Infra Elements like CCTV, Payment System, TMS etc.

 

Drive New Design/change in design for Store layout

 

To ensure store’s design are relevant to emerging need/trend.

This roles requires huge spectrum of collaboration and coordination with various functions at Cluster and corporate to get things done at much faster pace. Need to ensure all the work is carried out in accordance with HSW Guidelines. Ownership and execution of Opex and Capex is additional challenge.
