As a Manager in our Consulting team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

Role and Responsibilities

Inventory Mgt & Forecasting

 

  1. Leading the forecasting and replenishment discussion within the Supply chain function along with procurement team to release Purchase requisition and map supply schedules
  2. Responsible for maintaining service levels at each CFA/warehouse/Distribution centre/port for the product portfolio
  3. Review of inventory of each brand and responsible for planning/initiating and implementing corrective action plans
  4. Review of SLOB (Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory) and preparing long term/short term
    plans for avoidance/liquidation
  5. Perform periodically Inventory ageing analysis.
  6. Driving forecast accuracy across the brands/Business Verticals to improve service levels and avoid inventory Build-Up
  7. Responsible for developing Inventory policies and ensuring compliance
  8. Monitors stock-keeping unit levels and recommends stock-keeping unit rationalization initiatives in the future
  9. Communicate decisions and supply impacts to all stakeholders in the planning process
  10. Responsible for developing, monitoring and review of SLA with key stake holders related to Demand and Distribution Planning
  11. Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers to ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills and solution mindset
  • Team player at executive levels to collaborate with business units and functional partners like IT, Finance, HR, Legal, etc.
  • Solid operational management and general business skills and savvy
  • Industry knowledge in terms of broad industry dynamics on the buy-side (and the sell-side), but also the internal knowledge and “language of the business”
  • Excellent communication skills and even better listening skills that allows him to get the “voice of the internal customer” and to understand the company culture and how to best communicate procurement’s value to it
  • Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Change management skills and self awareness to take varying approaches with a dynamic set of stakeholders (e.g., expert model vs. facilitative model)
  • Analytical mindset, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches that have historically “boxed-in” procurement
  • MBA with 7-10 years of experience will be beneficial
