Job Description

To support design and implementation of quality
infrastructure which is complying with ITC safety standards, and other
applicable nationals and international standards. To support the Corporate EHS
team’s vision to be a center of excellence for safety and engineering standards
through audits and policy design.
Roles and Responsibilities- ?

•      Conducting electrical design reviews of new and
revamp projects and provide value addition inputs ensuring safety and
optimizing cost.

•      Update electrical safety guidelines in line with
the changes in compliance and statutory aspects from time to time. 

•      Develop and deliver technical training as per
requirements. 

•      Carryout investigation of accidents to identify
root causes and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence

•      Conducting
Environment Health and Safety audits and preparing audit reports.


Requirements

Qualifications- 

•      Graduate
in Engineering (Electrical) from reputed institution.  

?

•      Strong understanding of basics of electrical
engineering and standards driven approach for solutions.

•      Conversant with electrical system design
concepts and details such as power system studies (fault level calculations,
load flow, etc.,), design basis requirements, etc. 

•      Should have worked on detailed engineering
processes, such as equipment sizing, system sizing (earthing, lightning
protection, cabling, etc.,), preparation of SLDs, CWDs, cable schedules,
layouts, procurement specification, etc. 

•      Should be knowledgeable in BIS/ IEC/ IEEE
standards and codes. Exposure to NFPA and EHS standards will be an added
advantage.

•      Ability to evaluate new technologies for
different use cases.

•      Should have good communication skills, both in
written as well as spoken English. Ability to converse effectively in Hindi is
essential. 

•      Ability
to demonstrate continual learning and willingness to take up new areas of
expertise for professional growth.
