About the team:
With ~500M registered users, ~20M Merchant Partners, 150M+ Monthly Active Users and 18M+ daily active users, the goal is to create a new business vertical, and increase the Company’s revenue and profit hence Paytm Ads team was started to monetize Paytm user traffic. Paytm ads business consists of the following.
On Platform Display Ads: Ads are placed on strategic touchpoints on the homepage, category page and post-transaction page on the Paytm consumer app, Paytm for Business merchant app, Paytm Insider & Paytm Money. This aims at engaging with Paytm active transacting users.
Paytm DSP: Paytm Demand Side Platform is for running programmatic video ads outside the Paytm App. It helps advertisers reach out to Paytm user base by showing ads via Paytm own and third-party solutions.
Product Listing Ads: Product Listing Ads are available for brand and merchant partners retailing their inventory on Paytm e-commerce.
About the Role:
We are looking for a leader to scale strategic data partnerships for Paytm Ads by identifying, sourcing and nurturing strategic data partnerships.
Expectations/ Requirements:
1. Own the strategy for Data Augmentation for multiple use cases at Paytm starting with Advertising.
2. Identify and source strategic data partners who can work with Paytm and create mutual value
3. Manage and nurture partnerships to build an ecosystem of data partners for Paytm
4. Be a thought leader and evangelist for efficient data utilization across different teams
5. Be a champion for new initiatives like data onboarding and privacy working closely with the ecosystem
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role
1. Minimum 8-12+ years of experience working in partnerships/business development with specialisation in data with Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and/or related field from reputed colleges.
2. A very strong understanding of the data marketplace landscape and commercial models bringing strategic value to organizations.
3. Must have managed large data partnerships for organizations or have worked at DMP/DaaS companies
4. Ability to influence key leadership stakeholders to develop data adoption across the company
5. Extremely analytical and detail oriented when it comes to sourcing and developing partnerships
6. Good understanding of technology especially around modalities of data exchange between partners
7. A very good understanding of compliance and privacy frameworks (CCPA,GDPR,etc)
8. Candidates who understand or have experience in Ad Tech (Data Partnerships, Data Onboarding, Data Clean Room), Martech or DaaS companies will be a strong plus.
