About the role: We are looking for a Business Product Manager who can be involved in designing new products and their implementation.
 
Expectations/ Requirements:
1. Work with Business Head to formulate business strategy across product lines.
2. Lead discussions on and work across teams to meet business projections across # of Loans, Disbursements, revenue, profitability and manage portfolio economics.
3. Actively participate in and drive commercial negotiations.
4. Ability to build annual operating plans & business (volume and revenue) forecasts.
5. Undertake various initiatives towards achieving business goals in discussion with Risk, Collections, Product, Tech, Finance, Help Desk, Field Teams, etc.
6. Conduct existing Product Benchmarking, competition mapping and update the same on an ongoing basis.
7. Suggest New Product Ideas to meet customer requirements.
8. Identify areas for process improvement & create detailed SoPs and BRDs in discussion with relevant stakeholders.
9. Implement relevant MIS for Business Health Monitoring and assist Business Head in conducting efficient reviews. Support various functions to ensure that appropriate follow-up action is taken in a timely manner.
10. Support Business Head in building alliances with Banks, NBFCs, Credit Bureaus, etc. for key components such as commercials, business budgets, legal agreements, etc.
11. Work closely with various functions including Risk, Collections, Product, Tech, Finance, Help Desk, Field Teams, etc. for smooth operations.
12. Adherence of statutory compliances as applicable and ensure compliance to corporate policies and regulations.
13. Manage external partner relationships for efficiency and deeper engagement. Own day to day operating relationships with such partners
 
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
 
1. Someone with 10+ years‌ ‌of‌ ‌relevant‌ ‌experience‌ ‌in‌ BFSI / ‌Consumer‌ ‌internet‌ ‌industry‌ (preferably lending) ‌in‌ ‌similar‌ ‌roles‌ ‌in B2C assets, understand ‌P&L‌ as well as done program ‌management‌.
2. MBA‌ ‌from‌ ‌Tier‌ ‌1‌ ‌Business‌ ‌school‌ ‌Immense‌ ‌resolve‌ ‌to‌ ‌achieve‌ ‌ambitious‌ ‌targets‌
3. Tenacious & mature with high degree of perseverance and collaborative approach to navigate internal and external stakeholders/ ecosystem.
4. Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
5. Prior‌ ‌experience‌ ‌of‌ working cross functionally with multitude of stakeholders.
6. Basic understanding of product and risk management
7. Must‌ ‌be‌ data-driven ‌with‌ ‌strong‌ ‌problem‌ ‌solving‌ ‌and‌ ‌analytical‌ ‌skills‌
8. A high ‌degree‌ ‌of‌ ‌ownership‌ ‌in‌ ‌taking‌ ‌things‌ ‌to‌ ‌completion
