Buyer – Interior & Exterior Plastic Parts

Qualification – B.E. / B.Tech

Responsibilities:

1. Costing, negotiations and development of alternate sourcing of parts. Should meet development timelines; interact with different agencies within the company. 
2. Meet cost reduction targets by VA-VE; Yield improvement, inner parts localization, Annual price negotiations and other such cost reduction ideas etc.
3. MIS reporting activities, budget making, vendor capacity assessment etc.
4. Procurement of parts for OE and Spares supplies. Capacity planning with suppliers for meeting increasing/fluctuating requirements based on the demand for OE and spares.
5. To support MSIL QA team in resolving quality issues, controlling defects at vendor end
6. Rationalization of vendor layout on the basis of Business Over Time
7. Ensuring Business continuity plan with existing vendor base by achieving comprehensive excellence at vendors
