JOB DESCRIPTION

Skill: Devops

Role / Tier: Consultant/T3

Key responsibility:

Build test and production environments in a consistent, automated manner
Create and enhance Continuous Integration automation built on Docker and Kubernetes
Develop automated deployment pipelines to ship software frequently and reliably
Create and manage VMs, images, and containers for deployment to physical or cloud instances
Define processes for deployment of microservices using modern tooling and software
Creation of services and dependencies using infrastructure as code
Diagnose and debug issues within the system or dependencies, working with other teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
Create and enhance solutions for observability, monitoring and alerting
Develop and review process in consideration of performance, scalability, and testability
Replace repetitive and undocumented manual processes
Incorporate changes in deployment pipelines for product features and enhancements
Assist in real-time troubleshooting of cloud-application challenges
Provide mentorship to new employees
Work in Agile teams, participate in Agile process in a collaborative fashion
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering Technology, and a related technical field followed by 6-10 years of progressively responsible professional IT SW DevOps experience.
Experience must include:
Minimum 6-10 years of hands-on experience on DevOps system engineering role responsible for Infrastructure and hosting environment
Proven experience in IT, Application development or DevOps, including excellent knowledge of networking, computing, and storage
Experience in cloud technologies like GCP or Azure platform
Experience with IAC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, scripting language and ansible
Design and implement reports and analytics for application and infrastructure monitoring
Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, antifactory, octopus deployment tools
Work with Product Managers, Project Managers, Services and Support departments to understand and implement business requirements that include securities and audit of hosted solutions
Implement certificates and hosted environment infrastructure projects
Good knowledge of cloud functions, compute engine, cloud storage and Kubernetes engine, deployment manager etc.
Able to participate in web site audit review and general security review of hosted solutions and infrastructure.
