About this opportunity

As Customer Project manager, you will be responsible for driving professional services engagements towards Ericsson's customers. You will make use of industry leading tools and methodologies to position Project for success. You will have ownership over Project delivery and strategy as you work to deliver solutions utilizing Ericsson and 3rd party products and services. The focus is to understand customers’ needs and provide superior services by crafting outstanding business value for our customers through efficient and innovative solutions. Important aspect are as follows :-

  • The overall solution!
  • Solution Cost Estimation
  • The overall profit and loss of project deliveries
  • The delivery model (mix of on-shore and off-shore resources)

Once the project is assigned to the CPM, he is responsible for the delivery, until the complete signoff of the contract, reporting to the CFR for any issues, keeping internal tools like GC updated, delivering in line with Ericsson principles of integrity ensuring the continuity from pre-sales to delivery, actively seeking to improve top and bottom lines with due consideration to customer satisfaction and Ericsson’s business objectives since these programs often have a clear impact on the Business Unit and corporate results.

What you will do

Be in a Leadership role for Project including multiple sub-projects along with an overall responsibility.

  • Drive up-AoS sales opportunities
  • Establish the project plan baseline: define project scope, secure the necessary resources, and plans and monitor all activities
  • Lead project execution and project governance : track project activities, supervise and handle changes, conflicts, and critical issues.
  • Handle project finance: ensure financial system monitoring.
  • Handle customer and partner engagement: manage customer relationship building confidence and trust, ensure project progress arranging meetings.
  • Targeted on net sales and unadjusted margin. Measured primarily on Add-On-Sales, Projects P&L, Billability, Employees Engagement and Customer Happiness.
  • Mentor the team, to interact with them and to support them in their professional growth, and to identify and recognize talents
  • Develop a positive & productive culture within the project team members
  • Need hands-on experience when it comes to project deliveries: IMS, Cloud & NFV, CS Core, Basic understanding of MPBN

You will bring

Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.

Candidate should have relevant technical experience of around 9-15 years, of which at least 3 to 5 years in project/program management and preferably the candidate has experience delivering IMS, Cloud, NFV, CS Core Project.

Experience of working within the Telecom/IT industry.

Experience working with multi-national global organizations with the ability to establish good working climate in a virtual environment using phone, mail, and collaboration tools as communication vehicles.

Demonstrable record of accomplishments in leading Digital Services type of Pre-Sales & Delivery

Collaborative, team-player and able to work across geographies and cultures

Proven track record working for a supplier towards major telecom operators

Capability of coping with pressures & setback

Entrepreneurial & Commercial Thinking!

Negotiation, Persuading & influencing Skills

Relation built up & Networking skills

Result oriented & Managing Customer Expectations

Leading & Supervising abilities

Knowledge of IMS, Cloud & NFV, CS Core, MPBN

PMP Certification will be good to have.
