Title: DWH – Database Developer

About the team: Telco business is still one of the revenue generating wing of the company. Its 20 years of leadership journey is what lays foundation for the Paytm current business. One97 Telco business is the current market leader in VAS – Value Added Services for the telecom operators. We create content for the telco's like Astrology services, Hellotunes etc. and the model is a shared revenue. We deliver mobile content and commerce services to millions of mobile consumers. Our business encompasses 20+ global operators and 100+ enterprise customers.
About the role: MySQL database administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of MySQL instances. You will also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances.
Expectations/ Requirements
● 5-6 hands on year experience as MySQL Administrator.
● 2+ years of experience in Database Administration.
● 2+ years of experience in SQL, PLSQL and other Database.
● 2+ years of experience in SQL Server/ Oracle Server.
● Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
● Hands-on experience in MySQL InnoDB cluster.
● Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
● Prepare documentations and specifications
● Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
● Installation, Configuration, Replication of MySQL.
● VIP Management
● Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM
● Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
