In this role as a Search Specialist, the ideal candidate is a highly driven paid search expert who has a background in both technical and business building in the online ecommerce space. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in growing a substantial business through the Search with consumer products on an online platform from strategy to execution.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy development and deployment of search across all ecommerce platforms (Organic and Paid Search) with a deliverable to grow business & driving ROI.
  • Create and manage all Search campaigns to meet monthly, quarterly and annual business targets
  • Optimize budgets and spend according to performance to deliver best in class ROI.
  • Should be skilled in creating, managing and perfecting all best practices on organic Search and product listings to increase our organic ranking and drive conversions.
  • Analyze performance, generate performance reports and use results to optimize and ensure positive ROI.
  • Learn and understand our business and competition to fully execute to expectations.
  • Make recommendations to continually improve performance by analyzing internal results, competitive data, and keeping on top of industry trends.
  • Develop, execute and analyze ongoing test approaches to continually improve campaign performance.
  • Identify, document, and share insights and suggestions for improvement based on data.
  • Liaise with etailers, key account managers, ecommerce performance marketers and brand marketing to build effective plans and drive our growth goals.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience with paid ecommerce search 
  • Hands on experience on executing ecommerce search through the self serve platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; comparable work experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Skilled at PPC optimization techniques, keyword research and all tools related to ecommerce Search
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Strong business and ROI mindset
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
