About the team:  EDC Retail – EDC is one of Paytm‘s business tool to help merchant grow and manage their business through simplicity and data driven technology.
 
About the role: The person should be capable of growing the business volume coupled with affordability around EMI offerings through various market insights and proper channels across multiple locations. 
 
Expectations/ Requirements
 
1.       Lead Zonalwise EMI Channel sales team and implement effective sales strategies in order to achieve targets, Grow distribution and Market share of the EMI business in the assigned area of operations.
2.       Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
3.       Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
4.       Formulate and Launch the counter strategy for local initiatives taken up by the competition.
5.       Ability to understand the data to gather the right information and plan the execution accordingly.
6.       Analyse the data and identify the improvement areas, substantiate through market visits to identify the priority spots in order to perform in.
7.       Plan the market size, span and geographies for team.
8.       Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
9.       Monitor the Quality parameters, validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
10.    Ensure the team members are in market where sales & EMI usage are done regularly
11.    Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area
12.    Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts related to EMI Channel
13.    Responsible for Acquisition, Revenue maximization and Client retention.
14.    Build strong relationships to leverage/maximize the company’s product and service content.
 
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role
 
1.       Must have high-level drive, initiative and self – motivation.
2.       Minimum 12+ years of total and 08+ years of relevant experience.
3.       Should have large team size handling experience.
4.       Identify and meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
5.       Should have good exposure in cold calling, pre sales and lead generation.
6.       Should possess good communication and negotiation skills.
 
Education: Applicants must possess bachelor’s degree or above.
