Job Purpose
|
- Primary job responsibility is to play the role of program manager capable to deliver multiple projects mostly in the area of Sales & Distribution (Scheme Studio, VI-SCOP, CPS, Service Center Management etc.) however can expand & manage other functional domains. As a program/project manager – meet time, cost and quality parameters
- To manage the implementation, rollout and change request delivery of Sales Incentive & Commission program of Sales, Distribution, Modern Trade & Retail payees across all line of business Pan India.
- The role will be responsible for strategizing, planning, design, development and rollout of programs and demand/change requests in the above mentioned application areas. The role requires close interaction with the Sales, Distribution, Retail, Modern Trade, Legal & regulatory functions as well as circles IT and function teams. Responsible for analyzing and strategizing initiatives to automate commission pay outs, fair & transparent systems to meet internal audit and regulatory compliance requirements.
- It requires collaboration with managed service partners for timely delivery of approved Demands/Change Requests including transformation programs within set quality parameters through partner collaboration with optimized cost and fulfilling expected business benefits.
- Role also involved executing projects using various SDLC methodologies like DevOps, Agile & Waterfall. Critical element of the role is to ensure zero defect delivery and bridge gaps between various stakeholders. Role is accountable for closure of the project in stipulated time frames within given or optimized cost parameters.
- In addition to this, will also be responsible for effort estimation reviews & sign-offs, Build & Release planning (for next 2-3 releases at least), track AD bucket utilization, SLA reviews and maintain operational stability by effective defect density analysis & provide guidance to partners accordingly.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
|
- End to end project delivery of small to medium and complex projects, responsible for delivery of applications such as Sales Incentive & Commission, acquisition system, business process applications, prepaid invoice management system, etc. and also to extend support to surround applications like billing, CRM & other in their deliverables
- Obtain acceptance on the project plan from engagement managers, responsible for resource planning, schedule and estimations, reviews and validations, project execution, tracking and monitoring, documentation of concerned projects, project closure and provide billing concurrence for effort consumed
- Responsible for risk assessment and mitigation (risks, actions, issues, dependencies and changes), publish project status reports to concerned stakeholders, presentations(Show & Tell of the project to business users), organize related meeting and publish MOM to relevant stakeholders
- Stakeholder management (Business users, Internal departments and Vendor Team), ensure that all testing cycles are closed and signoffs received as per defined acceptance standards and share required artefacts to release team alignment prior deployment of code into production
- Co-ordination with external partners for smooth rollout of the projects in Sales Incentive & Commission and POS applications, typically around schemes, invoicing, inventory, sales order, sales hierarchy, brand consolidation but not limited to these.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
|
- Have a clear understanding of end to end telecom sales and distribution hierarchy, processes of Indian market, latest mobile number portability process.
- Knowledge of Sales Incentive & Commission relevant to Telecom exposure to Scheme Studio is a good to have
- Project management of simple, medium & large size projects. Project implementation knowledge using various SDLC methodologies like Agile (Scrum Master), Waterfall
- Sound knowledge in various Effort estimation techniques – Function point analysis, Story points, etc.
- In-depth telecom domain knowledge for understanding overall project requirements. Proven expertise of prioritize & deliver business requirements in a short timeframe
- Strong communications, interpersonal, negotiation skills. Highly competent in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint / Visio / Word / Project, good knowledge on Java & SQL
- Certifications- Certified Scrum Master/PMP/Prince 2 (Good to have)
- Ability to drive operational excellence through standardization and innovation in processes/systems/tools.
- Experience in managing multi service & multivendor (TCS, IBM etc.)
- Good interaction experience with other service providers/partners, industry technical experts/forums
- Excellent team building capabilities and communication skills
