Job Purpose:

It is expected that EAI & BPM, Cache DB production environments are managed & the role primarily involves

• Supervision of the EAI & BPM production environment in the VIL ecosystem
• Ensure both micro and macro level monitoring, capability upgrades and system improvement plans are carried out in a timely fashion
• In case of issues, drive the necessary stakeholders toward resolution in the shortest possible time with least impact to the VIL business
• Manage the VIL EAI & BPM ecosystem from the aspects of capacity, uptime, correctness and new capabilities
• Responsible for Cache DB and UUP development and ensuring that Cache DB Operational KPIs are met

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

Operation KPIs management and SLA governance for EAI & BPM and Cache DB

• Operational KPIs management for EAI & BPM to be inline with given targets enterprise wide and specific to EAI
• SLA governance for the defined EAI SLAs and run SIPs if needed
• Initiate and run SIPs for betterment in availability, reliability & correctness of the systems

Incident, Change and Release Management for EAI & BPM, Cache DB and UUP

• Manage incidents occurring due to the EAI & BPM stack by involving the right stakeholders and keeping the business disruptions to as low as possible
• Interact with stakeholders within VIL and external VIL like TRAI, Google, PayTM, Banks to ensure that all outages and issues regarding EAI APIs are resolved in minimum amount of time
• Ensure that changes and downtimes due to various planned activities like Demand deployments, Patching and upgrade activities, capacity augmentation, capability additions are scheduled and performed properly on the production environment

Design and Development for CacheDB and UUP

• Manage the design and development happening due to requirements on Enterprise Customers App in CacheDB
• Manage changes to be made to the Unified User Profile system for all subscribers of Vodafone Idea Limited and ensure that nothing breaks across the ~50 systems that depend on this

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience:

• Should have handled EAI operations end to end for at least 5 years
• Well versed and experienced in concepts of Operational KPI Governance, SOA governance, API lifecycle management
• Experienced in Incident, Change and Release management
• Experienced in Vendor Management
• Well versed in IT ADM methods like Agile, Waterfall & usage of DevOps tool Chain
