About the team:
Transit vertical is working on digital solutions for day to day transit needs such as Fastag, Public transport payments via Wallet Transit Card, QR Ticketing and also Challan payments. The vertical is ever expanding to find new and innovative solutions for making daily Transit easier and hassle free.
About the role:
Paytm is looking for a Growth Manager for accelerating the core growth metrics and user numbers.
The Growth Manager is an analytically driven capacity builder responsible for designing strategies to increase top-line, revenue modelling, managing CAC and overall hygiene of the category while coordinating with multiple functions.
Expectations:
Sales Force Enablement: Ensuring that field team remains motivated and focus on key goals
· Management of end to end incentive program for Sales team
o Analyze and build a monthly Incentive policy for Field team (including Targets) and ensure roll out / communication by 1st of every month
o Build clear communication of incentive scheme at the level closest to customer
o Sending out periodic nudges to sales team on how can they maximize their earnings through incentive scheme
o Ensuring timely disbursement of incentives to Field team & sending individual incentive workings
o Timely redress field team grievances related to Incentive working
o Building an SOP and ensuring its adherence with timeline and ownership
· End to end management of R&R program for Sales and Ops team
o Building best in class R&R program for both Sales and Ops team
o Ensuring implementation of R&R program on a decided frequency (including disbursement)
o Ensuring that the winner is able to get good visibility within organization
· Performance Management
o Regular and timely publishing of Performance dashboards and ensuring communication to the people closest to the customer
o Setting up regular review cadence with customized performance dashboards
o Helping field team in setting up daily sales huddle / Gate meeting and providing customized dashboards to facilitate meaningful discussions
Sales Planning: Help in meticulous planning so that business growth is sustainable
· Building business overview
o Creating Lay of the land – Market estimation, competition intelligence & market share at station level
· Providing tools / template for effective working
o Creating templates for Sales planning (GGP), Sales force effectiveness (Coaching Cards)
o Providing tools to Sales team for efficient working (SFA)
GTM: Increasing penetration and reducing distribution CAC at the same time
· Building alternate cost effective channels for acquiring new users and penetrating category
o Explore Omni-channels and identify cost effective channels to acquire mass commuter base with RHs
o Create "Gives and Gets", Business value proposition and loyalty program for onboarding & retaining channel partners / influencers
o Getting it implemented in the system by working with CFTs
o Jointly own activation / engagement of Channel partners along with Sales team by tracking, churn reversal and reviewing value proposition
P&L: Maximize net earnings
· Taking EBIDTA lens and rationalizing spends and maximizing revenues
o Identifying growth levers for maximizing revenue & getting those executed
o Taking a ROI lens on all investments including offline branding spends etc.
o Providing analysis on optimizing resources including manpower, campaigns etc.
Superpowers that will help you succeed in this role
· Educational background: MBA from a premier B-School (IIMs, XLRI, FMS etc.)
· 5-6 years of experience in handling cross functional programs, managing & identifying business growth drivers & proven track record of increasing user engagement, retention, revenue and profitability in a similar industry
· Highly analytical and detail-oriented, ability to take ownership of the task at hand
· Advance excel, Data Automation & Visualization, Python, SQL working knowledge (would be preferred)
· Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
