Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. 

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality. 

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Cloud HCM Center of Excellence (CoE) team is looking for a hands-on engineer with solid background in Integrations, Data Conversions, Performance Tuning, Runbook Optimization, and Monitoring Cutover Activities.

This is a customer facing role that allows you to work with our customers and implementation partners to assist them in their journey to Oracle Cloud HCM. This role combines hands on expertise in the technical areas with the customer management aspect. You will be working with other product development teams, success managers, support and executive sponsors to deliver solutions for our customers.  

Minimum 6 years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM (Oracle Fusion HCM) is must (** If you do not meet the criteria, you will not be considered)

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Data Migration into Oracle Cloud (HDL, HSDL, Batch Loaders)
  • Integration Orchestration and Automation, REST apis, ATOM
  • Performance tuning, reviewing AWRs, query execution plan, jfrs
  • Good understanding for Global HR and at least one other functional area such as Compensation, Talent, Absences, Payroll, Benefits, Payroll Integrations, etc
  • Hands on expertise with Fast formulas, Groovy, Page composer, Flex fields
  • Working knowledge of FSM, CSM and other migration strategies
  • Working knowledge of Cloud HCM Application security and auditing frameworks

Nice to Have:

  • Working knowledge of OMC, RUIE, Cloud EM would be a great advantage. 
  • Integration using Oracle Integration Cloud or Service Oriented Architecture Service Oriented Architecture Cloud Services) with Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience with other Cloud Applications, On-Premise HCM solutions (EBS, Peoplesoft, JDE…)
