Job Description

Purpose of Role:

The goal is to support the North America Salesforce team to perform their daily activities efficiently by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of Sales and Market data through the New Sales Analytics application built on Power BI on Azure platform.

The goal is to be the single POC for the business with respect to the application

 

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Experience in the commercial life science domain.
  • Proficient experience in External market datasets from external vendors like IQVIA, Distributor data, CRM data, etc.
  • Engage business teams to drive prioritizations and issue resolution with development teams
  • Work with offshore support teams as a business partner to propose solutions and provide guidance to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions
  • Proficient understanding Azure Analytics services including Data Factory, logic Apps, Data Lake, etc.
  • Analyzes complex data elements, systems, data flows, dependencies, and relationships to contribute to conceptual, physical, and logical data models. Develops the Logical Data Model and Physical Data Models including data warehouse and data mart designs. Defines relational tables, primary and foreign keys, and stored procedures to create a data model structure. Evaluates existing data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies. Develops efficient data flows.
  • Good understanding in analytics use case implementations in Azure.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, interaction with multinational clients and teams.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Involve in solution design discussions, provide cross functional knowledge and ensure the solutions developed will meet quality Viatris standards.
  • Support documentation process.

 

The minimum qualifications for this role are: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required
  • 3-5+ years of hands on support experience with MS Power BI and Azure Analytics
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English required    

 

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Azure or Data Modeling Certifications is a plus but not required.
