Systems Engineer
Key Job Responsibilities
1 Deliver:
Create, ensure appropriate review and get authorization where necessary:
1.1 Requirements Management Plan (RMP);
1.2 System Requirements Document (SRD);
1.3 System Design Document / Product Architecture;
1.4 Diagnostics Specification;
1.5 System FMEA;
1.6 Test and Calibration Spec (TCS) / Mfg SRD / Mfg Spec;
1.7 Product Test Strategy and Results;
1.8 Technical packs to support CCB and RFQ/RFI.
2 Support Activities:
2.1 Software Design reviews;
2.2 Architecture reviews;
2.3 Test Design/Procedure/Script reviews;
2.4 Service;
2.5 Network issues;
2.6 OEM Vehicle FMEA;
2.7 Tier 2 supplier management.
3 Support Groups:
3.1 Software Engineers;
3.2 Hardware Engineers;
3.3 System Integration Engineers;
3.4 Environmental and Functional Validation Engineers;
3.5 Manufacturing/Test Engineers;
3.6 OEM Vehicle line engineers;
3.7 Tech Sales.
4 Other Authorities:
4.1 Negotiate technical implementation with the customer (and sign off agreement with customer);
4.2 Negotiate technical implementation with manufacturing (and sign off agreement with manufacturing).
