Job Purpose

Fault Management of SIP Trunking and PRI issues, Second Level Escalations. LD Network built, Integration of Elements, Acceptance Testing of enterprises voice elements. Supporting and interacting with SNOC team, Product team, Configuration team, Performance team, Planning team & Circle teams.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Coordination with NOKIA, HUAWEI, OPTIVA and VIL internal teams for escalated enterprises voice issues.
  • Supporting Service SNOC, INM, Configuration & Performance teams for enterprises voice products and services. Direct interaction with customer on need / case to case basis.
  • Periodic long distance nodes inventory audit, spare management and ownership for repair and replacement process.
  • Testing & verification of new features / parameter / product deployed in the voice enterprises domain
  • Troubleshooting of Soft Switch, Media Gateway Nodes and vendor management.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in Telecom switching preferably in IN, NGN & TDM (Experience in NOKIA, NSN & HUAWEI Elements will be preferred).
  • Knowledge of SIP, IP, CCS7 & IN Protocols is desirable.
  • Good technical knowledge in Switching Networks, IN platform with good technical, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask with good time management skills.
  • Exposure to working in multi-vendor and multi technology environment

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications
