As a Manager in our Consulting team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Providing day-to-day Procurement services: Preparing, conducting and concluding negotiations. Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
  • Selecting sources of supply; leading the commercial and contractual negotiation securing the optimal contractual agreement for the organization.
  • Maintaining strong information flows back to global Category team for opportunities to aggregate demand and generate additional leverage.
  • Ensuring operational Procurement requests are executed in line with category strategies, and in compliance with relevant policies and operating procedures.
  • Focusing on value generating projects, search and evaluation of new suppliers, due diligences, business case preparation for new launches and/or transfer projects
  • Demand management – Responsible to ensure the right balance between business needs and company’s strategy.
  • Accountable to work with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives.
  • Planning and achievement of productivity targets, overall value proposition and priorities as agreed with the business and procurement stakeholders.
  • Increase Procurement effectiveness (realize the benefits of productivity and process improvements such as cross-divisional Category management, etc.). Cash flow contribution (extending payment terms with major suppliers with / without Supply Chain Finance) and compliance to mandated processes and guidelines
  • Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
  • Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
  • Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.
  • Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations.

Strategic Sourcing Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field.
  • A Master's degree in business or specialization in advanced procurement management will be advantageous.
  • At least 4-7 years' procurement experience in a related industry.
  • Proficiency in software such SAP, S4HANA, Ariba, e-Sourcing, Keelvar
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
