Job Purpose

 

The role will be responsible for ensuring CS/PS/IMS Core System up time, Operations of CS/PS/IMS and ensuring regulatory compliances

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • System’s availability > 99.999%.
  • External Interface ( Gi /Gy/IPLC)availability > 99.5%
  • Adherence to daily O&M routines and node health checks
  • Report analysis and communication to management
  • Hygiene of PaCo equipment rooms.
  • Spare availability < ensuing strict compliance as per vendor agreement.
  • Provide L3 support to team in case of any issue which team is not able to fix by its own before doing the final vendor level escalation
  • In case of emergencies ensuing that management and top hierarchy is full updated with the progress on ground
  • Ensuring every change is documented after it is executed for future references and also same gets updated in LLD & HLD
  • Ensuring project roll outs of Packet core nodes as per corporate plan
  • Doing the required budgeting  for various links being used in PaCo network with finance team for payments and fund allocation for network expansion  
  • Design discussions & finalization for various PaCo Project Roll/Augmentation at Delhi circle
  • Ensuring HLD & LLD is as per planned design before actual implementation
  • Ensuring system or services dry run before actual launch for subscribers in applicable cases
  • Ensuring that  any PaCo equipment installation is done in accordance with Vodafone Infra guidelines
  • Ensuring required approval from all concerns like RA/IT/Security/SNOC/COG/UAT before making any node on air for customer traffic
  • Customer complaint analysis and reduction
  • Ensuring end to end analysis of complaint type’s tagged at CS and doing the required analysis from packet Core end
  • Doing the required communication to other network teams for findings from the packet core end.

 

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • 3 to 5 Years’ experience in the field of any Core Operations (PACO/CS/IMS).
  • Demonstrate experience of working in Telecom Service delivery function.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • B.E 
  • Good understanding of GSM and data call flow and Gy & Gx
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive in approach with positive attitude
  • Balanced in handling emergencies.
  • Experience in virtual team management
