About Us:

To further enhance merchants’ business, Paytm offers merchants commerce services through advertising and Paytm Mini app store. Operating on this platform leverage, the company then offers credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans and BNPL, sourced by its financial partners.
About the team: Paytm has a huge Merchant ecosystem and these merchants have fund requirements for their working capital and other needs. Merchant lending team partners with Banks/ NBFCs to devise products for the ecosystem. The aim is to bring more merchants into the mainstream by providing them small ticket loans.
About the role: Looking for someone who can manage the entire Portfolio and related analytics of the MCA vertical.
Expectations/ Requirements:
1. Ideating and executing business initiatives for Merchant Loans categories
2. Account Management Experience of handling Small, Med-Size Accounts
3. Drive user acquisition and retention through focused programs across all app, online, and offline channels
4. Prepare budget and plans for the vertical
5. New products to be designed and implemented for Business loans
6. Should have the ability to work along with multiple stake holders including product and technology to deliver business objective
7. Ability to own the product across the customer life cycle from acquisition to exit
8. Own competitor assessments and keep close tabs on industry trends to ensure correct market constructs to drive product and conversions
9. Ability to scale the business while ensuring the losses are well within the desired levels
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. 8+ years of experience in internet/e-commerce/ distribution/ lending. Banking/ NBFC/Fintech experience is a plus
2. Ability to work in a cross functional environment and ensure delivery of KRAs within desired timeline
Must be a go getter and individual contributor.
3. Identify and meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
4. Should possess good communication and negotiation skills to handle the key accounts.
5. Proactively able to reaching out to merchants over calls to be required (B2B Merchants)
6. Should have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
