§ Will be
responsible for designing, developing, and executing experimental protocols
with the goal of delivering on the specified objectives in the area of
research.
§ Will also
be responsible for the understanding the required discovery platform and work
with the multidisciplinary cross-functional team of scientists.
§ Will be responsible for generation of data, its
analysis & interpretation.
§ Expected to give newer insights related to assigned
research programs.
also be responsible to handle assignments in the other research areas of FMCG
businesses
Requirements
Experience and exposure
to modern sophisticated chromatographic techniques e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, LC-MS/MS,
GC-MS etc. and their various applications in purification of organic molecules
from complex matrix and their usage in various usage in quantitative analysis.
good understanding on various advanced spectroscopic techniques may also be
required for identification and structure elucidation of the isolated molecules
e.g., 1H-NRM, 13C-NMR, various 2D-NMRs, FTIR, MS, etc.
Must have completed his doctorate working on
isolation, purification, and structural elucidation of bioactives/molecules
from the complex natural matrices e.g. medicinal and/or food plants or their
parts. Must be able to work independently and must be capable of providing
solutions to the current scientific/technical problems faced by the
industry.
thorough understanding of scientific methods, research protocols, and data analysis
and interpretation
Exposure to enrichment
processes for purification of important bioactives from complex food matrices
and their in-vitro & in-vivo evaluation will be an added advantage.
to analytical, microscopic techniques will be an added advantage.
identification, structure elucidation (1H, 13C, 2D-NMR, UV, IR, etc.) of minor
secondary metabolites of natural origin.
bio-actives
(plant & plant parts), chromatographic purification, identification and
structure elucidation of molecules, spectroscopic analysis, preliminary
understanding on in vitro bioassays e.g., antioxidant profile, ORAC Value etc.
