About this opportunity
Managed Services Delivery Platform – MSDP – is used when Ericsson has been contracted to handle a customer's network. It contains several solution areas comprising of different tools. MSDP tools serve end-to-end management of networks in multi- customer and multi-country environments, enabling efficient alarm monitoring, trouble shooting, fault restoration, work order distribution and reporting.
The WFM-IFS are a system for the field operations which provides scheduling functionality in order-to improve the efficiency of the field force. In the WFM-IFS system, work orders are used to hold information regarding the requested services as well as to keep track of the progress of work being done for the same, in order-to meet the service requirements. Work orders will be further split into tasks to be carried out by technicians in the field. For field technicians with proper access rights it is possible to view and maintain the tasks through Technician mobile app.

What you will do
- Overall manager, line responsible & leader to product area organization for area of WFM-IFS Work Force Management at MSDP/SDA&P.
- Responsible to define teams & staff for the product-area, with right competency. Identify technical product owner. Assign responsibilities to team in a multi-site lean & agile development environment.
- Deliver optimal business value through the product establishment, development bringing to bear rightful use of Ericsson assets, resources & digital capabilities.
- Manage & responsible to implement & sustain product-vision, strategy and business interests
- Ensure Product-Owners and their teams shape up the end-to-end product architecture & delivery strategy.
- PAMs will build trusted relationships with collaboration partners other units both inside SDA&P and outside the organization
- Work closely with relevant partners to align the product-area roadmap with our overall business unit strategy.
- Identify and handle dependencies within the Product–Area and across other Product Areas.
- Support the product-teams in day-to-day priorities and product demos, and lead regular product area demos to provide clarity and gain input across the organization
- Manage the area budget, being accountable for the financial impact incurred by leveraged resources and solutions in the product teams of the Product-Area
- Plan and implement methods to empower Product Owners and product teams to increase speed and impact of their work
- Be responsible for the overall work environment for your team.
- Have the ability to lead an organization unit with 10-20 employees and 40-50 Contract work force
- Have experience with Agile product development, preferably in large organizations
- A great-communicator with experience of bringing together multiple business partners, both internal and external, to complete a common mission
- Know how to build end-to-end product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs
- Required to deliver healthy, maintainable, and scalable technology
- Required to understand relevant technology trends & its impact on the product area, evaluate SWOT analysis they bring and Advise senior management
You will bring
- Successfully handle Requirements Management Process, Patch Management Process, Capacity Management Process, Information Asset Management Process,
- Solution delivery to Production environments of all approved capabilities, enhancements, transformations & other business needs.
- Regular support to address: Branding & Usability (UI + UX), Performance & Scalability (Horizontal + Vertical), Flexibility & Extensibility, Security, Privacy, 3PP Licensing & Trade Compliance
- Line management responsibilities of Human resources in identified Product area
- Best Practices, Guidelines, Knowledge Sharing, key product documentations.
- Established SDLC procedures for high quality solution delivery in production environments
- Governances & compliances of delivery procedures
- Asset Management for Product: Liaison with sourcing, SAM & vendors for defining statement-of-works, contractual agreements, and financial optimizations
- Resource planning and governances from vendor partners for forecast & fulfilment, financial control and compliance to statement of works
- Involved with Work Force Management area IFS at senior responsible positions to quickly deploy WFM solutions, integrate to other MSDP system and facilitate achieving solution deliverables for Organisational business goals.
- Ensure state of art development and delivery of solutions to field force and control overall cost of operations and Tool ownership
Competencies & Additional skills
- Product manager capabilities to turn business requirements into roadmap features and plan them accordingly.
- Extensive expertise in Software development for WFM-IFS, Mobile app, GUI technologies and leading large teams.
- Extensive knowledge depth and breadth in the area of responsibility – Its drivers, issues, and strategic directions and plans
- Experience in delivering sophisticated projects performed offshore, able to lead and direct Project Managers & Product owners
- Understanding the MS Business and the processes to support it.
- Is transformational, open-minded, and a facilitator/driver of changes
- Is a great communicator
