About The Role:
User profile system(UPS) platform consists of multiple key services such as KYB & Document management system(DMS), Terms & conditions (TnC) and User Preferences
As a Product Manager for UPS, you have a pivotal role in enabling internal as well as external use cases on the platform. You will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners in driving the conceptual and technical development of UPS products.
As a key member of the UPS Platform Product Management team, you'll collaborate closely with a talented troop of Engineers along with various Business, Product, Privacy and Governance stakeholders within Paytm. Your efforts will directly enhance the overall strategy of how efficient we can collect these details in a centralized manner and address the Business, Compliance & Governance use cases. velocity of Paytm Product and Engineering teams, and shape the strategic direction of Paytm UPS Engineering function.
Responsibilities Includes:
Generate a deep understanding of KYB, DMS & TnC, our market, target customers, and the wider industry to create a clear, compelling and differentiated product vision and strategy
Gather insights and conduct research, user interviews and studies to develop requirements, Problem definition, solution design and validation
Monitor each stage of the product lifecycle.
Create stories, epics and documentation for the product & conduct all agile scrum ceremonies.
Help with the testing of the functionality, security, and overall performance of the product
Work with the product teams, engineering teams, development teams, and other stakeholders to create the product strategy.
Ensure that the APIs are integrating well with various other ecosystem in Paytm such as KYB, Document management system & Terms & condition systems
Figure out the use cases of the APIs & Monitor the endpoints of the APIs by working with other product managers & stakeholders to determine any issues with the APIs
Have good understanding of SQL to query the data on your own to validate the assumptions
What You Will Need:
Should have a Bachelor’s / Masters or an equivalent degree, preferably in engineering or management and should have at least 5-7 years of product management experience and leading technology products
Experience in building and launching various APIs, including API-based products and services.
Ability to partner with various stakeholders like engineers and developers to work on the project scope, products, and overcome issues.
Been part of a developer community.
A complete understanding of partner-facing ReST, GRPC APIs, and GraphQL.
Good understanding of data products is preferred
