Role 1: Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: B.Tech + MBA (desirable)

Relevant experience: 7-12 years

Domain experience: IT Projects in Trading, Retail and Supply chain

Job Description:

Projects Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of clients and stakeholders, and helping to determine feasible solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems. 

 This position has the following accountabilities:

• Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements. 

• Translate business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options. 

• Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Documentation to communicate requirements and related information.

• Interact with software suppliers, designers and developers to understand software limitations, deliver elements of system and database design, and ensure that business requirements and use cases are handled.

• Create acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through defining and coordinating testing. 

• Prepare business cases to justify solution value and establish approval, funding and prioritization. 

• Understand and stay abreast of relevant architectures and technologies related to a business area. 

• Lead stakeholder management activities and facilitate sessions/ workshops

Skills & Requirements:

•    Experience of various Agile frameworks and Agile project experience. Experience in Agile tooling (ex -VSTS) and certifications are preferred.

•    CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification preferred.

•   Lean Practitioner training and experience are preferred

Role 2: Project Manager

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: B.Tech + MBA (desirable), PMP (desired)

Relevant experience: 12+ years of IT experience with 6+ years of Project Management experience

Sector experience: Oil & Gas, Energy

Domain experience: IT Projects in Trading, Retail and Supply chain

Project Manager is expected to drive Discovery Phase, End to End interfacing with B2C, Vendors and internal IT team to come up with the Delivery plan and drive the project to successful closure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end to end project lifecycle including scope, changes, schedule, cost, risks, communication etc

• Discuss with key stakeholders and understand their priorities

• Design and execute the required governance approach

• Create and deliver relevant and impactful communications for project or workstream stakeholders;

• Manage and report risks at a project level to make timely recommendations that will maximize value;

• Understand changes necessary to balance execution efficiency with risk mitigation, value delivery, cost, quality and benefits;  

• Understand programme or project goals and business context at all stages of the lifecycle, and particularly when responding to challenges and change.  Recommend acceptable courses of action where appropriate;

Skills & Requirements:

•    Experience of various Agile frameworks and Agile project experience. Experience in Agile tooling (ex -VSTS) and certifications are preferred.

•   Professional certifications related to project management (e.g. PMP (preferred) or Prince 2 Practitioner).

• Must be strong in stakeholder management, risk management, cost management and change management

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in leading a distributed team.

Role 3: Business Analyst – Endur

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: B.Tech / MCA / MBA

Relevant experience: Minimum 5 Years working experience as Openlink Endur BA

Sector experience: Oil & Gas, Power

Domain experience: End-to-end commodities trade lifecycle knowledge (Power & Gas preferred)

Requirements:

• Strong IT Business Analysis Skills – BA Tools & Techniques, BA Planning & Monitoring, Requirements Management
• Domain Knowledge – End-to-end commodities trade lifecycle knowledge (Power & Gas preferred); Including trade capture, gas scheduling, risk management, settlement and accounting. Understanding of accounting principles is required
• Advanced knowledge of one specific Power Market preferred
• Minimum 5 Years working experience as Openlink Endur BA including hands-on configuration in three (3) or more of the following areas:- cMotion, gMotion, Deal modeling, Pricing formulas, Power toolset, Settlement Desktop, Accounting Desktop, Market Manager
• Prior experience with requirements elicitation during requirements workshop and document requirements specifications
• Knowledge of End to End Software Development Life Cycle & Agile Delivery
• Strong Stakeholder Management Skills
• Effective Troubleshooting Skills

Desirable Skills/Knowledge:

• Certifications – FRM / ERP / CFA / any globally recognized Trading related certifications.
• BA certifications like CBAP, PSM., etc
• Able to write and/or review test plan/cases
• SQL knowledge and coding experience
