As a member of the  Operations Transformation – Consulting team you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals.

We work in conjuncture with Indian and global financial institutions solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

 

Work you’ll do

As a practitioner, you will work in an exciting and growing environment, collaborating with other colleagues to design and deliver innovative solutions to leading financial services clients spanning strategy to implementation. As part of these engagements, you will develop a deep understanding of client issues, gain deep domain expertise and assist in conceptualization of best-in-class solutions.

 

Skill: Database Architect 

 

Experience & Skills:

  1. Experience working with at least two, and expert-level knowledge of at least one database technologies: MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, ORACLE, Cassandra, Kafka, MariaDB, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
  2. Extensive understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches.
  3. Experience working as Database Architect or similar field.
  4. Experience in developing software applications including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
  5. Hands-on experience with Data Model Techniques.
  6. Working technical experience with relational database servers.
  7. Proven ability in design, implementation and migration of various database provisioning, installations, configurations and also maintenance and monitoring.
  8. Competent in people leadership, communication and presentation skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement effective database solutions and models.
  2. Provide technical expertise of the data space that contributes to the strategic roadmaps for Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Cloud Architecture, and Business Intelligence Architecture, as well contribute to achievement of strategic objectives of organization.
  3. Plan and oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  4. Oversee a portfolio of data warehousing projects at the organization, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategy.
  5. Lead data tier architecture and design processes, participate in system and application architecture.
  6. Architect and implement HA/DR/Backup/Maintenance strategies for cloud and on-premises.
  7. Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
  8. Inspect existing databases and data Warehouses and identify optimizations for potential development.
  9. Create strategies and roadmaps for implementation ETL processes and data architecture to ensure proper functioning of different functions and service lines.
  10. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization.
  11. Review the status of in-flight projects and their progress time to time and ensure completion.
