JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Experience of commercial / procurement within a large complex IT organisation
2. Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the IT vendor market place
3. Articulate and numerate with a strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate reporting within tight and fluid timescales and deadlines
4. Ability to negotiate and challenge at all levels 
5. Awareness of laws and regulatory issues applicable/relevant to IT (including intellectual property rights, data protection, PCI DSS and telecoms)
6. Strong  experience with complex IT contracts
7. A strong technical knowledge of current and emerging IT products and services
8. A strong reputation for placing the customer at the heart of all planning
9. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
