Sr. Manager/Manager Quality Assurance- Bakery/Pastry/Cake/Cookies Food

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead in developing and implementing Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures (PNP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation system at Central Kitchen and Outlets.
  • Regulatory Compliance of NPD with ingredient & label compliance and coordination with external lab for all testing requirements.
  • Design & deploy necessary training sessions regularly to enhance focus on Quality & Food Safety.
  • Customer Complaint Handling and closure with relevant internal and/or external stake holders.
  • Overseeing the Pest Control at the Organization and providing necessary support to resolve any pest related issues.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects/assignments as instructed by the CEO.

Job Requirements:

  • Certified Food Safety lead auditor would be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of the Food Safety and Quality program is important.
  • Good communication and influencing skills at different organizational levels.
  • Thorough knowledge of Labelling & Packaging Country specific Regulations.
  • Cross-functional collaboration for understanding the process, suggesting improvements and plugging operational gaps pertaining to food safety & quality.
  • Strong Data analysis and interpretation skills to mitigate Food Safety & Quality risks basis the available data.
  • Effective control and Ensure of all produced quality to meet company standard.
  • Testing and Maintaining the online parameter of Chips, Namkeen,Frymes, Kurkure and Puffed products.
  • Analysis of Physical, Chemical and Organoleptic parameters of all products.
  • In online parameters Moisture content,FFA,TPM,PV of oil,Fat % in all products.
  • Also checking and maintaining the seasonings efficiency of all products.
  • Control The leakage in packaging departments.
  • Control the online Defects in Chips line such as TPOD.
  • Testing and Verify of all parameters of RM/PM and FG Products as per company standard.
  • Maintain document forward and backward traceability.
  • Effective implementation and compliance of quality programs, food safety systems like HACCP,ISO 22000:2005,FSSC 22000 (GMP and Food Safety Audit).
  • Cooperating with R&D team for NPD.
  • Handled customer complaints and monitored there improvement.
  • Prepared action taken report(ATR/CAPA) for consumer complaints by finding root cause.
  • Conduct monthly quality review for raw material and process quality issues.
  • Verify the Cleaning as per cleaning scheduled.
  • Finding of Non Conformity related to process deviation GMP, GHP, quantity deviation and batch code details for packing materials printing matters.
  • Record keeping and Maintaining of all Q.A. records.
  • Calibration of all instrument of lab and maintain the document as per schedule.
  • Knowledge about PRPs & OPRP.
  • Ensure the in processing products and final products to meet standard specification.
  • Coordinate with production team and conducting training to shop floor people regarding GMP, GHP whenever required.
  • Knowledge about the preparation of dairy product from milk such as Ghee,milk Powder,Panner ,Chaz,Rasgulla etc
  • Knowledge about the Bakery specially in Rusk.

Education & Experience:

  • A technical background, at least Masters degree level in Microbiology or Biotechnology or Food Technology.
  • 5-7 Years work experience in a Technical, Quality or Process Improvement role.
  • Experience with Quality Standards, Principles and tools (such as ISO, BRC).
  • Sound Knowledge of FSSAI rules and regulations w.r.t. to regulatory compliance.
