The Opportunity:

As a senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to use latest technology to develop complex module/component design, automate and maintain an efficient, flexible, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions. You should be highly motivated and talented engineer with a strong desire to learn and grow your skills in developing the solutions for cloud offerings and deployment. You will be responsible for all aspects of the development, load balancing and disaster recovery etc. and work continuously with cloud solutions.

 

You are good at:

 

  • Should be able to independently develop complex software
  • Responsible for timely delivery as agreed within the project without compromising on product quality
  • Takes ownership of code quality. Actively and effectively reviews source code, takes defect prevention steps in software developed. 
  • Interacts well with peers and communicates in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written on his/her work. 
  • Actively participate and contribute to analysis, design, planning, processes, etc., Raise issues where needed and create sensitivity towards timely resolution of problems.
  • Adopt agile development methodologies and test-driven development.

 

What it takes:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • BE/ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.Tech./ MBA/MSc Computer Science.
  • Should have very good problem solving, analytical, design and coding skills.
  • Expert in one or more object-oriented languages, like Java or C++.
  • Experience in UI Technologies like Object Oriented Java Script, Require JS, Backbone JS, HTML5, CSS and NodeJS is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Gradle, Jenkins or TEAM CITY.
  • Web service technologies (REST or SOAP) is desirable.
  • Knowledge on OScript, Content Server platform and Smart UI Development is a plus.
  • Good to have knowledge on Postman and Fiddler.
  • Experience in SQL and MS SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL.
  • Application clustering / load balancing concepts and related technologies
  • Hands-on experience in writing unit and integration tests
  • Experience in fixing the issues reported by code quality and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our agile development processes.
  • Knowledge with installing/configuration of enterprise applications would be plus.
  • Good communication skills.
