The Opportunity:

OpenText is looking for strong candidates to be part of a diverse team responsible for delivery of configuration solutions for SuccessFactors. This individual will be able to effectively interact with the end-user community to gather requirements for enhancements or identification of problems in the production environment.   

This candidate will be an integral part of information systems development and integration for Open Text IT Enterprise Business Systems organization

 

You are great at:

The Senior Software Engineer SuccessFactors will have the following responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for applying SAP best practices to the design of SuccessFactors enhancements in support of our out of the Box approach to business applications implementations.

  • Ability to Lead the design of SuccessFactors solutions that impact cross-module functionality.  Examples:   M&A mass onboarding of acquisition employees and entities; integrations with other HR, financial and payroll applications; role-based permissions; and adoption of new SuccessFactors functionality.

  • Provide ongoing technical expertise and operational consultation on system functionality, system upgrades and configuration

  • Work with other IT leads to advise on best practice solutions for SuccessFactors enhancements.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills are required

  • Works with SAP support to create, escalate and resolve incidents.

 

What it takes:

The successful Senior Software Engineer will have the following Core Requirements:

  • The ability to support all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, and post-production support/maintenance functions as well as documentation, and end-user training

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with the SuccessFactors suite (including but not limited to EC (Core, Time Off and Time Sheets), and RCM)

  • Experience with Global Time Off is a must.

  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors infrastructure – platform, data models, utilities, security, etc.

  • Experience with full cycle (end-to-end) implementations of SuccessFactors Employee Central

  • Strong understanding of HR specific business processes

  • Self-starter that can work effectively as part of a team; in-person and remotely

  • Strong skills, including analytical thinking, problem solving, and superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
