Purpose of the Role

The position exists in order to Do system and process audit at supplier end as per plan and NCR closure for allotted vendors. Take interim and permanent action plan for issues reported in part level, resolving line issues to support manufacturing team, Issues take up with designer. LRN clearance at the respective shops on time and communication to respective suppliers. Monitoring Casting Forging line loss and debit & communication to the respective supplier.

• Relevant Experience of 4 to 7  years experience of BE

• Casting technology and Machining processes 
• Forging Technology and machining processes
• SQI Processes 

Area of Responsibility

Line stoppage co-ordination

To do the analysis on the line stoppage, Receipt rejection, and CSVES issues. Based on the analysis, identifying the root cause and action initiation either at the supplier end and ensuring the loop closure at VECV by sharing the gaps to a relevant team member who is accountable to close the actions against the issues’ root cause.

Supplier process audit

To plan and adhere to the yearly supplier process audit plan, To closure all process audit NCRs on time and ensure the supplier less than 60% score improved from the initial level.

 Co-ordinate special process audit

To Lead special process Audit drive at Casting & Forging suppliers, To Plan audit and ensure action sustenance at supplier end, To ensure the efficacy of action closure and monitor control KPIs after audit closure.
