We are currently seeking a TLM-Sr.API Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Overview

With the ongoing channel and device proliferation and increasing competition from digital disruptors, APIs are fast becoming the lifeblood of digital transformations for enterprises seeking to thrive and grow in this immensely competitive environment. The NTT Data Digital API Services practice is a one-stop-shop for all API related needs of the customer, right from defining their API strategy and roadmap, business case development, down to prototyping, API development, API management product selection and implementation and managed services.

We are looking for a strong and versatile Apigee API Lead Developer to join our growing team in Bangalore.

Role Responsibilities

·        Develop, test, and deploy applications based on Cloud-Native, API-First and Microservices using Apigee platform.

·        Interact with other back end API developers to make sure API endpoints provide the appropriate data for the application developed and other applications.

·        Able to troubleshoot and help impart technical knowledge to the development team.

·        Able to adhere to processes and ensure the usage of design templates, tools and accelerators for API development for the team

·        Collaborate with various stakeholders and multiple teams to own the delivery of high-quality end-product for the customer

Role Requirements

·        BE/MCA or a related field

·        Experience in Apigee and IBM API Connect (preferably V5) is mandatory.

·        Experience in migrating from IBM API Connect V5 to Apigee Hybrid or Apigee Edge to Apigee Hybrid or similar migration from one API Gateway to another will be an added advantage.

·        Experience/certifications with one or more API Management Platform experience (Mulesoft, Axway, IBM API Gateway etc) will be an added plus.

·        8+ years of designing and development experience in API and Integration space.

·        3+ years of hands-on development experience in Apigee. IBM API Connect development experience will be an added advantage

·        Excellent communication skills and team spirit

·        Ability to work independently with globally distributed teams and provide technical leadership/mentoring to junior members in the team.

·        Ability to prioritize their own work while taking organization and business needs into account.

·        Experience with one or more programming languages for API development

·        Understanding of RESTful architecture principles and their applicability

·        Understanding of all stages of the API lifecycle

Working in an Agile methodology / project
