Job Purpose

  • To act as a bridge between the organization and the client
  • Increase new business and retain revenue
  • To nurture / develop a relationship between the client and the organization for mutual benefit
  • To increase market share

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Strategic

 

Operational

  • Account Coverage and Account Management, by mapping all relevant stakeholders, Tracking renewals and retaining existing contracts
  • Broad basing in account by improving account and product penetration
  • Selling Vodafone Business Service Solutions and product offerings in the accounts
  • Meeting sales targets on annual, quarter and monthly basis
  • Maintaining account plans for covering the accounts breath for the services portfolio
  • Understand the business, market needs and the competitive environment of the client
  • Execute segment strategy and participate in all focus ministry programs
  • Facilitate clients requirement through pre-sales team
  • Ensure clients overall satisfaction with organizations engagement
  • Manage the Govt environment and strongly engage in preselling/ specs setting

 

Developmental

  • Develop self through continuous training and certification thereby building capabilities, with specific focus on new lines of business (FL, cloud, IOT etc.) and Digital India initiatives

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • 5-7 + years of years of experience, preferably with selling to government segment
  • Ability to engage with Senior technical and business leaders in customer organizations
  • Relationship Building at all levels of Govt organization
  • Interpersonal skills to manage relationship within the organizations
  • Should have a strategic approach – both short term and long term.
  • Should have a clear and focus on sales targets
  • Should be organized in his/her work
  • Ability to comprehend and position VF products at appropriate places within customer organization
  • Achieve budgeted revenue & Order Booking as per DB
  • Create Tenders and Spec them to VIBS advantage for focus ministries.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • Bachelors/MBA with 8-10 Years of experience.
  • Achieve Product-wise DB & increase the contribution from Enterprise Products like Fixed Line, Cloud, IOT etc
  • Increase New Account Break in by leveraging Non Mobility products and improve win ratio by specking the tenders
  • Build relationship and should know account workflow to forecast appropriately.
  • Should manage and create new opportunities through proactive engagements and contract calendar and share of wallet data points.
