Job Purpose

  • Accountability for the definition, planning and implementation of GE T25 / Large customer projects within time and budget a consistent manner using standard Vodafone project management tools and procedures.

 

  • Delivering Vodafone solutions within a customer environment by providing professional project Management, direction and control.

 

  • Engage with Circle Delivery Teams and TES Leads for better delivery and escalation management.

 

  • Responsible for  revenue delivery and improved Customer experience.

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Strategic

    • Early engagement with Sales team on new opportunities to provide necessary support and to enable win on the opportunity.
    • Manage VGE T25 accounts and Large Projects to give a consistent and superior Customer experience.
    • Manage delivery for improved revenue conversion.  

Operational

    • Manage orders in  OSM tool  and Engage with respective circle and global  delivery teams for timely delivery.
    • Weekly  reporting and Project reviews with Customer on the progress. 
    • Review with circle teams to mitigate dependencies and delays on the orders.
    • Compliance to delivery processes and systems.
    • Proactive escalation management to anticipate Project risks and drive mitigation plans. 
    • Financial Management during the project to ensure timely & right use of project budget.

Developmental

    • Support  and assist   to   implement  best Project Management practises across VSL  in line with  VBS fixed line objectives.
    • Build  Program Management  capability for handling  Large and Complex Projects.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

 

  • 10-12+ years of experience in leading Project Management. Managing multinational customers across the globe by working collaboratively with multicultural functions/teams and partners across continents.
  • Prior experience of handling Project Manager role  with Large Enterprise customers and hands on customer facing experience.
  • Manage Customer senior stake holders and  proactive escalation Management.
  • Experience in implementing project or programme practice to meet  Organization effectiveness  and  Business requirements.
  • Prince2  or  PMP certified.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • Experience in handling Project Management in a B2B environment
  • Commercially astute
  • Ability to structure and prioritize workloads around customer and project requirements
  • Strong focus on delivery and attention to detail

Educational Qualifications

  • Graduate, with minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferred in Electronics & Telecommunications.
