Assistant Manager Environment

To support design and implementation of quality
infrastructure which is complying with ITC safety standards, and other
applicable nationals and international standards. To support the Corporate EHS
team’s vision to be a center of excellence for safety and engineering standards
through audits and policy design.  

•      Conduct EHS audits – verify the ground scenario
and identify areas of improvement, thereby helping ITC units to enhance their
environmental and safety performance.

•      Update ITC EHS guidelines in line with the
changes in compliance and statutory aspects from time to time. 

•      Develop and deliver technical training on
environmental regulations, operational aspects as per requirements . 

•      Carryout
investigation of accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective
measures to prevent recurrence

Requirements

Qualifications- 

•      Chemical/
Civil Engg degree from a reputed institution (like NITs) or with postgraduation
in Environmental Engg from reputed institutes like NITTE..  

•      Strong understanding of basics of environmental
engineering and standards driven approach for solutions.

•      Capable of interpretation and implementation of
environmental regulations for different industries . 

•      Ability to spend time on the shop floor to
understand O&M practices/ issues and identify cost effective solutions to
improve on environmental performance.

•      Ability to evaluate new technologies for
adoption.

•      Should have good communication skills, both in written
as well as spoken English. Ability to converse effectively in Hindi is
essential. 

•      Ability to demonstrate continual learning and
willingness to take up new areas of expertise for professional growth.

•      Ability
to develop network with subject matter experts.
