Buyer – Transmission Parts Sourcing & Procurement

Qualification – B.E/B.Tech

Responsibilities:

1. Zero based Costing, negotiations, sourcing and development of Proprietary Parts Bearings, Clutch Set, Shift towers, Automatic gear Shifters, Forging/Casting Parts. Should meet project schedules; interact with different agencies within the company. 
2. Meet cost reduction targets by localization, VA-VE & Yield improvement etc
3. To discuss the requirements with R&D , facilitate the component development and co-ordinate with QA for Part Inspection for approval.
4. Project schedule monitoring, MIS reporting activities, budget making, vendor capacity assessment etc.
5. Identification of Suppliers to create competition/introduce new technology.
