Job Role:

New Model Introduction:

Overall development planning and management, Concurrent engineer, Casting die spec preparation to buy-off, Die Drawing Approval, Quality Trail, Management

Approval Die design:

Design of Low Pressure/High Pressure Casting dies/ Jigs /Fixtures in UG software.

Engineering change implementations.

Job Responsibility:

1. Process Planning :- Process design with in-process checks for HPDC/LPDC components for mass production. 

2. Facility Planning & set-up :- Preparation of Equipment specification, layouts, procurement of machines involving Technical evaluation through tendering process, installation & commissioning

3.Capacity expansion for existing set-up by Bottleneck identification & elimination by Kaizens & cycle time reduction

4. New technology introduction for supporting the desirable Manufacturing process in casting shops.

5. Proactively Identification of defects/ gaps to design foolproofings in casting manufacturing process.

6. Development and design of jigs, fixtures, inspection gauges.

Technical Skills:

1. Domain knowledge of manufacturing processes & machining processes involved in 5C components, drawing reading, Knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques

2. Hands on experience on equipment / plant set-up Die development related to casting shop for HPDC/LPDC.

3. Product development design Concepts of HPDC/LPDC .

Knowledge of calculation of Casting parameters, Casting component & casting equipment design.

4. knowledge of Uni-graphics, Auto-cad, Magma Simulation.

5. Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the overall development process at supplier end
