Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

Experience: 3-5 years

Notice Period: Immediate joiners required ( 15 days max)

Qualification: Graduate

MODE OF WORK: Hybrid, initial 15 days daily reporting to office

Mandatory Skills: Linux/PowerShell, Perl, Python, Shell/Citrix VDA

Job Requirements:

• End User support for Citrix Linux and Windows VDI in a 24*7 production environment.
  Shifts can be rotational/permanent.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to solve problems and continually evolve the technology.
• Respond to alerts, report issues and escalate problems as required.
• Troubleshooting issues related to LDAP, AD, NFS, Network and XenServer.
• Create/modify scripts to quicken troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of issues and resolutions.
• End User support for R&D on the Windows Platform
• Respond to alerts, report issues and escalate problems as required.
• Troubleshooting issues related to Windows OS & Basic Virtualization.
• Create/modify scripts to quicken troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of issues and resolutions.

Skill Set Required:

• Basic understanding of Windows OS & Citrix XenDesktop Architecture:
• Backend components – Delivery Controller, Storefront, PVS
• Citrix VDA registration and session launch flow (specifically Linux VDI)
• Experience in configuring and using XenServers / VMware ESXI, knowledge of networking for virtual machines.
• Scripting Knowledge in PowerShell, Perl, Python, Shell
• Knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of OS Deployment & Patching
• Knowledge of Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting, routing and DHCP etc.
• Knowledge of infrastructure services like AD, LDAP, SAMBA, NFS, and X-display troubleshooting.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
• Academic degree in Engineering.
