Job Description

Develop and retain a high level of understanding of business and IT systems requirements, to enable appropriate support and guidance to be given to Teams.

Defines test strategies for global change, champions and directs change implementations to deliver faster and better. Own and standardize test strategy model to ensure different projects / programmes are running the similar approach.

Provide direction for functional testing activities to ensure the delivery, on time and budget, of quality systems to live environments.

Lead/Manage and provide direction for the production of test estimates, Test Strategies, risk assessments, scripting and execution so that these are completed satisfactorily.

Demonstrate and apply excellent business domain knowledge – Commercial Banking and Trade Finance

Ensure that testing adheres to Group and local standards. Suggest best practices across the SDLC/STLC and assist in implementing them along with standards

Lead functional testing team for SIT, UAT and OAT etc. Lead/Manage the completion of all functional testing projects by establishment and strong monitoring of schedules/resources/costs ensuring completion to agreed quality expectations.

Initiate and/or support continuous process improvement to achieve productivity and efficiency gains. Provide cost benefits as required.

Build trusting relationships with stakeholders by consistently meeting and delivering upon their business needs; demonstrating and being respected for your domain knowledge

Develop and maintain high quality communication and relationships, both internal and external parties. Manage the coordination of communication with virtual teams worldwide.

Manage all onshore and offshore global testing resources in all testing activities to achieve project goals.

Control concurrent testing projects and resources for multiple projects that vary in scale and complexity, ensuring schedule/budget/quality requirements are met.

Manage project risks as they relate to quality and mitigate impacts to deliverables

Ability to quantify and translate progress, issues and risks into meaningful metrics. Monitor, drive and report testing progress through test metrics; keep project stakeholders informed of test progress, issues and risks

Coordinate with various participants and teams to prepare test cases, data set-ups and test environments

Work as the Test Manager on testing project, and manage the ODC vendor team on the project delivery, and quality assurance.

Participate to vendor management on the billing and delivery.
