We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Prin. Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

SAP BW HANA Developer JD

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Build reports/dashboards in accordance to the user requirement and test/deliver as per the project plan.
  • Support requirements gathering of the end-to-end solution development for SAP BW/4/HANA report development.
  • Provide business expertise and best practice advise for Analysis for Office (AFO) tool.
  • Provide subject matter advice in the development of BW/4HANA Deliverables.​
  • Assist project team with draft of functional specifications for Standard SAP BW/4HANA data models and views.​
  • Support technical configurations, and build of the application, source management, change management and/or technical delivery components.​
  • Work with project management to document and communicate risks and issues.  
  • Read data from multiple data sources and transform, enrich, and aggregate data for an efficient presentation in an enterprise environment.
  • Provide estimates and contribute to defining timelines & project plans.
  • Work with onshore, offshore and 3rd party development teams to ensure coding, testing, debugging, and implementation activities are completed as required.
  • Ensure alignment to SDLC and internal standards & compliance.
  • Transition projects and enhancements to Operations.
  • Support our operational team as needed with problem analysis, resolution, escalation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal teams (e.g. data architects, designers, business to business, business intelligence/reporting, server management, etc.) to deliver solutions for business needs.
  • As an integral part of the NTT Data Banking Consulting Team, the person will be responsible for leading the discussions with client from a business perspective.

 

Skillset

 

  • 3-5y of good understanding & hands-on experience of HANA architecture and SAP BI/BW suite.
  • 3-5y years of experience of working with BW models in HANA Studio such as Composite providers, Advanced DSOs, Open ODS views.
  • 3+ years of experience of working with SAP S/4 HANA as a data source.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4 Finance Data Model;
  • Experience with building BEx queries in SAP HANA studio using BW/4HANA Objects.
  • Experience with data extraction in BW/4HANA from SAP S/4HANA;
  • Experience with data ingestion to BW/4 HANA from 3rd party systems;
  • Experience in design and develop end to end data flows  for BW/HANA data models, including extractors, DTP’s and Open Hub.
  • Experience with reporting tools – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office (AFO)
  • Experience with developing SAP S4/HANA CDS Views.
  • Experience with large data volume & performance tuning.
  • Experience in ABAP programming skills and SQL Skills.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile & Waterfall.
  • Experience with SAP NetWeaver Application Server.
  • Exposure to Cloud tools/integration will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to directly have conversation with client teams.
