Job Description

  • The Interns will provide support to various business Analytics groups and the job involves data analysis, model and strategy development and implementation, reporting and data management. It forms the information basis for strategic planning by the senior management for businesses and enables effective decision making to satisfy business needs and requirements along with addressing unforeseen challenges.
  • There are primarily four job families in GAC: Decision Sciences, Information Management, Business Consulting and MI Reporting. This role is in the Analytics function supporting various risk management activities. This team is expected to undertake various analyses and develop strategies to support credit decisions across the customer lifecycle. Typical role would encompass formulation of credit strategies for customer acquisition and targeting; achieve customer revenue & cost targets; product development, pricing strategies, monitoring and enhancement of portfolio performance, and other account management activities. The incumbent would be required to support various group entities and business geographies, as required.
  • This role requires the incumbent to execute the assigned projects/ analysis as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality. This position will not have any line management responsibility.
  • The internship role is to support design and development of strategies, statistical, financial and judgment based models to enhance business decision making. The role will require an action oriented approach to meet on time reporting and analysis needs based on customer expectations. Supporting adhoc analytical needs of the process on an on-going basis is also expected from the incumbent. Individual would be required to support various group entities and business geographies during the internship.
