Develop and lead the Cloud strategy, to provide a commercially and technically viable roadmap for moving existing on-premise systems into the Cloud.
Partnering and collaborating with HSBCs development and technology communities to define, evolve and modernise architectures and patterns
Establishing a close partnership with our Global Business/Global Function CIOs & their Chief Architects to understand their demand through a Cloud Adoption Strategy & Adoption roadmap
Support the building of a Cloud Services practice within the platform, across all dimensions, including People, Process and Tools.
Influence and engage with Cloud Service Providers and external stakeholders to understand capabilities valuable to business and IT strategy
Provide regular and meaningful MI on regional Cloud adoption, regulatory landscape, spend and consumption.
Establish a Cloud governance model for the platform
Work with the SRE teams to ensure efficient CI/CD tools and platform.
Create and maintain up-to-date diagrams of the system landscape.
Ensure consistent monitoring and logging for cloud services across platform (working with SREs).
Demand forecasting and capacity management (with SRE teams).
