Job Purpose
|
To manage the Core ( CS Voice Core incl IMS ) operations and rollout at circle level. This role includes managing NLD nodes, 3rd party VAS nodes { IVR, OBD, IBD, and Hub nodes like DND} and enterprise support like Prutech – Flipkart, IOCL, Could telephony service, S2C hardware support operational activities. to support SNOC and COG, Support to RA & Business to deliver so superior quality services at the circle.
*Network Element Types involved (as per deployment, circle specific).
CS Core : MSS, GCS, MGW, GMGW, SPS, STP, HLR,ONE NDS, ( Nokia {MSS, GCS, HLR} , ZTE{MSS, GCS, HLR} and Huawei {GCS and SPS} Nodes).
VoLTE : Huawei and Nokia IMS ( incl SBC, CFX, TAS, IBCF and BGCF)
3rd Party Servers: S2C hardware, DND comviva hardware,

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
|
- Responsible for Core KPI management
- Define & execute operations model to handle customer issues, project support & CXX management
- Field support during & post working hours as & when required. This also needs travelling & operating from different MTX locations in MNG
- Supporting SNOC teams like INM, FM, CHM, PM etc. to meet Circle Core KPIs
- Close coordination & working with various OEMs, vendors, SNOC & Corporate teams
- Ensuring Core services uptime & availability as per KPI thresholds
- Managing partners and driving partners to ensure delivery timelines are met
- Support spares, backup & MTX infra management for Core function
- Project governance & support
- Action plan & closure of periodic review meeting points with various functions & stakeholders
- Engagement with cross functional teams to innovate, influence & achieve team goals
- Ensuring strict Process adherence & optimization for Core function
- Reporting & performance management for Core function

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
|
- Experience in Data networks & IP technology is a must
- Experience in operations for Core in Network department
- Knowledge across various domains in PS Core, Volte, IP, MPBN, Cloud & VM technology etc. preferably in Ericsson & Cisco Core
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture
- Experience in handling Core projects
- Experience in working under high pressure, large scale, dynamic, new technology transformation & high uncertainty environment preferable

Must have technical / professional qualifications
|
- BE or any equivalent technical qualification, management certification will be a plus
- Certification in any software skills or system Admin will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of PS Core call flows and various systems
- Hands on experience in handling large scale PS Core operations
- Experience in handling various processes like incident, fault, change, performance management is a must
- Project management experience
- Experience in handling reviews & management reporting
- Must have good analytical & presentation skills
