Purpose of the Role:
to ensure execution of safety, health, environment and fire related activities in facility. The Factories Act 1848 & Maharashtra Factories Rules and environment regulation compliance will be responsibility of this incumbent. This position is to ensure EHS employee engagement initiatives executions.
Role holder is required to deliver:
Routine safety compliance:
To ensure routine safety compliance and work permits compliance. IMS (ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001) compliance, TQM related activities
Conduct safety talk (Three days in a week), Regular safety visits
Budgeting & tracking of Safety material procurement
To ensure Contractor's safety compliance
To ensure compliance of emergency drills to evaluate readiness in case of emergency
Maintenance of fire related hardware
To ensure PPE quality/standard and PPE availability
Conduct regular safety review through Safety Committee meeting
ERT activities
Safety trainings:
Conduct Training for employees, contractor, Visitor's etc
OHC operations:
To ensure resource availability for OHC
To ensure health & hygiene related audits and compliance
UPL system compliance
Incident investigation and reporting system
Contractor Management System
Employee engagement initiatives, Rewards & Recognition
Emergency preparedness and response system
Training and performance system compliance
BBSMS
Management reports MIS, Weekly report etc.
Required Skills:
EHS regulations and best practices, Operating protocols like PTW, Incident reporting, Investigation & CAPA management, Laboratory Safety, Engineering, Procurement, Chemical Unit operations, ETP operation

Education:
Post-Graduation degree in Chemistry or Technical degree + PDIS or ADIS with 8-10 yrs of experience.
