JOB PURPOSE:

 

1. Drive day-to-day technical operations of Analytics function

2. Ensure effective running of Analytics systems

 

JOb Responsibilities:

 

  1. An understanding of the SAP BW data architecture 
  2. Working knowledge of the SAP BW and ECC application(s)
  3. An understanding of multidimensional modelling 
  4. Experienced in data integration through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources
  5. Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
  6. Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  7. Inclination to learn new Analytics tools and practices
  8. Below detail experience preferred:
  9. Experience on BW version 7.4, 7.5 on HANA, BW4HANA
  10. Design of  

>BW InfoCubes (Basic Cubes, Multi-cubes, Remote cubes) 

>BW DSO

>BW Datamarts 

>Logical Models

  1. Creating info objects, data sources, info sources, transformations, DSO's, cubes, multi providers and BEX queries as per the design.
  2. Schedule the data loads by creating info packages, DTP's and process chains.
  3. Experienced with design, development and updating the existing reports in BEX as per user specifications.
  4. Worked on transporting the objects from development to quality and production systems.
  5. Experience in writing BW ABAP field routine, start and end routines.
  6. Experience in designing and developing APD’s
  7. Experience in developing and enhancing standard extractors and generic data sources
  8. Active Engagment with the Customer
  9. Ensure Business warehouse system uptime
  10. Ensure smooth running of BW Operations

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BE/MCA
  • Total >= 5yrs
  • Relevant = 4-5yrs
