Defining the work to be achieved through the Sub-Value Stream Kanban
Supporting the prioritisation of capabilities and epics within the Sub-Value Stream
Identifying and removing delivery impediments and managing delivery risk across the SVS
Gathering inputs and facilitating governance forums
Managing capacity planning against the Delivery Roadmap
Facilitating PI Planning together with the VS Head of Delivery and the VS and SVS Leadership
Responsible for creating and managing the Delivery Roadmap, informed by a clear understanding of the overall VS Delivery Roadmap
Supports the decomposition of the backlog into the Kanban by liaising with the demand initiator and facilitating the breakdown of required activity, in close communication with stakeholders
Supports with PI planning, understanding the priorities and communicating any key delivery risks
Maintain a close relationship with the SVSs, supporting the prioritisation of capabilities within the Sub-Value Stream by creating/supporting capability investment cases, capability hypothesis statements, and multiple rounds of WSJF evaluations as capability understanding matures
Identifies and removes impediments, managing cross-SVS dependencies, escalating issues to Portfolio/CIOs and the VS Head of Delivery, and tracking key delivery risks
Gathers inputs and facilitating governance forums including Portfolio syncs, scrum of scrums, PI planning and QBR
Maintains a view of resource demand (and existing capabilities) across the Sub-Value Stream, across geographies, skillsets and grades, to best deliver against SVS outcomes and funding allocated.
Communicates with Communities of Practice to establish long-term capacity plans, covering changing levels of people driven by funding changes, and evolutions in skillsets required.
Supports Sub-Value Stream level reporting, enabling self-service wherever possible and providing exception reports for senior stakeholders
