Roles and Responsibilities

Life Insurance experience in Financial Reporting is mandatory.

  • Regulatory Reporting Submission of various reports to IRDAI/Life counsel, providing information/details required by IRDAI/Life counsel etc.
  • Managing Audits Support to Statutory/Internal auditors by providing timely data and ensuring successful completion of the same
  • Audit Committee/Board Deliverables- Preparation of deck, ensure timely submission of Audit committee/Board deliverables, review of policies approved by Audit Committee/Board and closure of ATR’s
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with IRDAI Regulations, Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Internal Controls Framework etc.
  • Management/Internal Reporting – Providing data to management/various teams as and when required
  • Master maintenance and reconciliation
  • Support in the Routing IGAAP/Ind AS financials and SEBI results
  • Project Management – Planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget
  • System Enhancements – Testing of system requirements, evaluate new requirements and providing CRs to IT, liase with IT for resolution of defects and delivery

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience post qualification
  • Life Insurance experience in Financial Reporting

Good knowledge of I GAAP, IND AS, Accounting practices and standards, SEBI and IRDAI regulations
