SAP BO Developer JD

Responsibilities

• Carry out BO report development as per requirements
• Maintain and develop reporting environment created in SAP BO/BW tools.
• Help develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Design and develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Development of Crystal Report components.
• Read data from multiple data sources and transform, enrich and aggregate data for an efficient presentation in an enterprise environment.
• Providing end-to-end support (user requirements gathering, Front-end dashboard/report development in, Documentation of Metrics/Dashboards and providing end-user Training).
• Set up a best practice for the reporting solution and maintenance.
• Provide support with solving (complex) Incidents.
• Identify opportunities to build up enterprise-wide platform support for BO usage.
• Support technical configurations, and build of the application, source management, change management and/or technical delivery components.​
• Work with project management to document and communicate risks and issues.  
• Provide estimates and contribute to defining timelines & project plans.
• Work with onshore, offshore and 3rd party development teams to ensure coding, testing, debugging, and implementation activities are completed as required.
• Ensure alignment to SDLC and internal standards & compliance.
• Transition projects and enhancements to Operations.
• Support our operational team as needed with problem analysis, resolution, escalation, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with our internal teams (e.g. data architects, designers, business to business, business intelligence/reporting, server management, etc.) to deliver solutions for business needs.
• As an integral part of the NTT Data Banking Consulting Team, the person will be responsible for leading the discussions with client from a business perspective.

Skillset

• 3-5y of good understanding & hands-on experience of SAP BO platforms.
• 2 years of continuous experience in Business Objects XIR4 recently
• Exposure to SAP BW HANA.
• Experience of working with SQL queries & Oracle, will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of extensive hands-on Business Objects 4.x version
• Working Experience on Business Objects Design Studio.
• Experience in working on complex data warehouse projects.
• Should be fully knowledgeable of Complex ‘Universe Design Tools’ and ‘Information Design Tools’
• Experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile & Waterfall.
• Exposure to Cloud tools/integration will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to directly have conversation with client teams.
