About this opportunity

The Diameter Signaling Controller (DSC) is one of the world-leading 4G signaling nodes, with a market share of 25% of the global market. We have recently extended our product portfolio by launching the 5G Signaling Controller. This new product covers 5G use cases and network functions such as BSF, SCP and SEPP and is implemented as fully cloud native ADP based micro services. All development activities are carried out through agile & scrum working principles and are done in close agreement between our sites.

What you will do

We are now looking for a product development leader for our unit (PDG Signaling in PDU Mobile Core – formerly known as “DSC”). In this role you are a line manager for a group of approximately 15 developers. In addition, you participate in being responsible for the whole unit, securing our deliveries and evolving our way of working. We live a co-operative leadership style, in which all Product Owners and Line Managers form a joint leadership community, everybody drives specific areas, and we jointly decide the most suitable solutions for our challenges. Potential focus areas for this position are signaling evolution and studies, product security and vulnerability and/or deployment automation.

You will

  • Supporting & mentor teams and developers in the unit

  • Supporting staff with their growth

  • Taking a lead role in agreed operational areas, including participation in day-to-day activities, critical issue handling, impediment handling, maintaining partner interfaces, etc.

  • Driving improvement initiatives, flow optimization

  • Chipping in securing smooth releases according to time plan with quality

  • Taking a lead on DSC unit level activities as agreed inside DSC LT
