JOb Responsibilities:

 

QlikSense

• Hands on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding and data modeling and reporting
• (ad hoc report generation) techniques.
• Must be good at Data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis.
• Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense.
• Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices.
• Strong database designing and SQL skills. Experienced in RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients. Also helps in understanding and serving to the client’s requirements.
• Leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of Qlik Sense best practices to deliver effective Qlik Sense solutions to the users.
• Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Experienced in data integration through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources

 

Power BI

• Power BI development and administration.
• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
• Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, etc.
• Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Also, one must be experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• MBA/M.Tech/M.S. with specialization in IT/Analytics.
• 8-10 years of overall experience out of which at least 6 years in analytics
• Good understanding of data infrastructure, data warehouse and data engineering
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to take initiative independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communications skills
